LITTLE WOLF IMAGINATION
Stichting Little Wolf Imagination is a cultural foundation established in 2018 and based in Paramaribo, Suriname. The foundation is dedicated to preserving, developing, and promoting Surinamese arts, culture, and heritage through creative projects, artistic expression, education, and knowledge sharing.
Our work began with filmmaking, drawing inspiration from Suriname's rich history, folklore, and storytelling traditions. Through our productions, we bring stories to life, preserve cultural heritage, and introduce Surinamese narratives to local and international audiences.
While film remains an important part of our work, our ambitions extend beyond cinema. Little Wolf Imagination aims to create opportunities for artistic development, cultural exchange, and education across the wider arts and cultural sector.
We believe that creativity and knowledge sharing are essential to preserving cultural identity, inspiring new generations, and strengthening Suriname's creative community.
Our Mission
Our mission is to preserve and promote Surinamese cultural heritage while encouraging creativity, artistic development, and the exchange of knowledge.
Through artistic productions, educational initiatives, and cultural collaborations, we aim to connect generations, create opportunities for emerging talent, and make Surinamese arts and culture accessible to a wider audience.
Our Vision
We envision a thriving Surinamese arts and cultural sector in which local stories, creative talent, and cultural traditions are celebrated both nationally and internationally.
Little Wolf Imagination aspires to become a platform for creative expression, cultural exchange, and professional development. Beyond producing films and other artistic projects, we aim to facilitate workshops, courses, masterclasses, and collaborative initiatives that encourage knowledge sharing and support the next generation of creative professionals.
By connecting artists, cultural organizations, educators, and communities, we hope to contribute to a sustainable creative environment where knowledge is shared, talent is nurtured, and cultural heritage continues to inspire new forms of artistic expression.
